The Cure Brings Me Back.
I’m gonna try to make an effort and post more often on here. We can start with this ridiculous Cure tattoo photo gallery. I have nothing against it on principle, it is just that the ones in here mostly suck.
And speaking of Robert Smith, my buddy Steven pointed out that he looks like “a fat and confused Alice Cooper“. Remember when he was cool enough that you would consider keeping a rats nest on top of your head because it might make you look cool by association? Me neither. One more quick tattoo picture of him looking Chucky with lipstick, just for yucks.
It’s not all bad of course, the man was is a musical genius. I submit to you, A/V proof of this below. Welcome back, bitches.
Play For Today (I can’t embedded it, but its the best song in my opinion and worth this crummy link)

the best part of getting a robert smith tatt in the 80s, when you were a mega fan is now all those people are old and wrinkly. how mega authentic.
nothing is nastier than robert smith as an old man & tattoos of him on old ass.
lucky ducky…

Steven, I guess by then the Cure as a band were 16 years old. Teenage angst? Or perhaps people felt like if they had committed to something for 16 years, it is about time to let the world know whats up. Then.. Wild Mood Swings dropped. And as I mentioned to you before, it is a good album, it was just a sucker punch in The Cure’s progression. No one saw it coming and were slightly disappointed to be hearing cha cha cha instead of gothy wails.
Spicoli, thankfully I decided (last minute mind you) not to get his face tattooed on my face in 1991. I think I’m winning the collagen game.
