2009 With The Face.

Hey there, Cyborgs. With only hour left in this year, I still have time to squeeze out some lists for you guys. All in all, it seems like this has not been a prosperous a year for us in terms of content. The top posts (in terms of hits) of 2009 are all from 2008 and below. Ouch.

  1. These Eyes. (2007!)
  2. Mario Kart Larping. (2008)
  3. Zune Guy Breaks Up. (2008)

We have gotten a little more popular in the world, though. The top 5 countries checking us out are:

  1. US–1,180
  2. UK–219
  3. Canada–44
  4. Brazil!–33
  5. Australia–27

And for the funniest part, the top keyword that people have found us through is: FAIL. Apt, no?

Anyway, here is to resolutions and continuning to improve things for your sake and ours. At least we still don’t have ads on this guy. :)

And now, the music.

We played:

  • MGMT—Kids
  • Alèmayèhu Eshèté—Tchero Adari Nègn
  • Deastro—Michael, The Lone Archer Of The North Shore

OMFG TEH PIZZA!!

I like to think of myself as a pizza fan. Ever since I first saw Mikey eating some ‘za while on his Cheapskate, I have LOVED pizza. And being from Chicago, I have seen it all. Or so I thought.

Broiled pizza. Yes. Broiled. Pizza. This is the day that the Lord has made.

Frickin Genius

So I tried making a playlist with the new iTunes Genius feature, and after 20 attempts and no recognizing of any tracks (granted they were Nintendo music tracks) it finally came through with one based on The Sea & Cake – Afternoon Speaker. I must say I was a bit impressed. It made a fairly good mixtape for me. I am updating my library so I can try again and get myself a ‘Making a Sandwich’ playlist.

I Hate The Online Puma Store.

Out of four times in my miserable life that something has been ordered from Puma.com, there have been four returns. And all four are a pain in the ass. You can return to the retail store, if you want credit and not your money back. If you wanted to exchange something, like say a sweater that fits one size too big, you can’t. You have to send it back, rebuy the sweater in another size, wait 4-6 weeks for them to credit your card/refund you and all the while hope they even received your package because they won’t tell you shit until its been four weeks. Whats worse, when the new sweater comes, its doesn’t fit right either, so one has to wait ANOTHER 4-6 weeks to be credited back. They mail from Massachusetts, you return it to California, and the customer service is in New Jersey. Its like a shady startup business. Puma, get your shit together. Oh, and bring back the navy/white Roma Pigskins PS already.
