I am broke. I haven’t gone out in DAYS and it’s killing me slowly so I tallied my expenses for the month of December, and to my surprise, I was spending WAY too much on the wrong things. This whole time, I was worried that I was over spending on beer, but it turns out its the fucking lunches that are killing me. I pay more to eat out than I do on rent! Thats gonna change. In the meanwhile, here are some ‘del.icio.us‘ links! Also, Dec is rough because its Christmas time, so that may be why I’m stuck inside watching crappy movies and cursing the striking writers.

Is it just me or was 2007 a shitty year? Reading Pitchfork’s best of, I could only agree on one of the albums and that is The Field: From Here We Go Sublime. Holy Moly, that is a good album. Other than that, yeah the Kanye was good, but not BEST of the year. And for the record, I think Battles sucks. If I wanted to hear drums all day, I could go to Michigan Ave and see the kids who play on buckets all day.

As for movies? No Country For Old Men by a mile and thats about it. Ratatouille? Never seen it.

TV? Lost finale was grand, but that was ages ago.

Anyway, here’s to hoping 2008 ends the suck; starting with this blog.
